I went to get a haircut just 2 days ago.. nothing much, just a simple cut like 4 or 5 inches shorter. I did notice there was a pretty good crowd there so had to wait for a little bit even when I had an appointment set; again no big deal. When it was finally my turn my hair was washed and cut well, but there was an error which I had not noticed until I came home and straightened my hair (since my hair is curly and poofy when cut short). Turns out the left side of my hair (from middle parting perpective) was left a lot longer than the right side. It was very obvious since I could see that the lower layer on the left side, which was supposed to be equal with all the rest of them was longer along my neck and till my collar bone whereas the right side was an inch above and all equal. It might not be noticeable when your hair is long but these errore are very noticeable when your hair is cut short. What had started with just the front bunch ended up going all the way along the whole left side. My kid sister had to cut my hair to get it to level with the right side, and yet I still see some strands peeking. As much as this Hair Cuttery location was my favorite and always the go-to place, I must say it's time to move on to a different salon.
