Do NOT give your business to this place. They have NO understanding in customer service for what takes place in THEIR store. Go elsewhere, they are overpriced with by far the WORST salon customer service I have EVER experienced.
I purchased a Groupon for a Botanical Mani-Pedi at Petal and was so looking forward to a relaxing botanical experience when I made my appointment. Unfortunately that was far from what was experienced. I was told it would take 2 hours, so I went in with 2 hours of pampering in mind. There is no massage chair to start, no big deal but kinda standard these days. The lady doing my service was very nice and ran my water, asked if I would like it warmer and when I said yes unfortunately the hot water ran out and my water turned to cold (lukewarm at best) for the entire pedicure portion. The water wasn’t even hot enough to do my hot stone massage until AFTER my manicure. Nothing botanical about the pedicure… just water. Foot and leg scrub/massage was lackluster as well, not to mention they don’t even use purchased toe separators to paint your toenails, just pieces of cotton.
Manicure: No hand or arm massage just clip, file and paint. Once again nothing botanical about it. Unfortunately, there was something in/on the chair that my skin had a severe reaction too. I mentioned during the manicure something was burning my leg and I left with a serious chemical burn (that was told to the person giving the service before I left). It was not necessarily any ones fault per say but it did happen. The customer service from that point forward was HORRENDOUS. All I asked for was a refund for my purchase. They would not return my calls after they asked to see pictures of the burn. I called multiple times with no answer and a full voicemail. They offer email as communication as well, that did not work. Don’t even think about just stopping by because they are custom appointment only. Once I called from my office phone (a number they did not have) someone answered and yet again terrible service. The manager was told by the owner not to talk to me and therefore they had been screening my calls.
I did not ask for outrageous amounts of money, nor did I ever place direct blame, however I was treated with complete disrespect and no understanding or compassion for the incident that took place. They never gave me a refund. Only due to my working with Groupon did I ever actually get my money back.
