I came here with my nanny & her son & let them both get hair cuts as well as get one for myself. I’m spontaneous so I decided to completely change my look. I had a bad experience at mega cuts with trying a long bob shape before so I never attempted it again. This place upon entry is super clean. That’s something I look for. They were inviting & like a big family. The owner did a great boys haircut. I enjoyed my hair cut. My first hairstylist did a wonderful dye and initial hair cut. My hair came out a deep luxurious brown that accented my face. That was something she helped me pick. They were all knowledgeable in haircare & i loved the experience. Later on another stylist took over shaping my hair cut & wow the hair color and hair cut changed my life! They both did a great job in working together. I must admit I was slight nervous to switch to a new hair stylist but wow they worked together in perfect harmony. I was a different person! This is my go to for the rest of my life

My hair was a tangled mess when I first came in. My hairdresser (I think the owner) recommended a treatment and it has saved me and my hair. She also took what I wanted and made it better with her suggestions. Would highly recommend and will be returning.

I get my hair cut by Courtney and I always love my hair after. She listens to what I want and takes the time to cut my hair how I want it. She's not the type of stylist to cut too much or rush a job. She's good with pixie cuts and with cutting your hair through the growing out process of pixie's. I always get compliments on my hair and get asked who cuts it! The salon has a great vibe and the owner is really nice. I appreciate the wine or coffee during my visit!

I wanted my hair done before a party and found this salon because of it's proximity to the hotel. Great up-do! It stayed in place all night and I received so many compliments!

By far the BEST haircut I've ever gotten, and by the most cordial team of hairstylists. Mona Coiffeur is an elegant, inviting salon tucked into an intimate shopping center in the bustling metropolis of Metairie. I drove almost an hour to get there, and it was worth every minute. In the past several years, I've had waist-length hair, a pixie cut, and several frustrating stages in between. None of the in-between stages were flattering until they fixed me up at Mona's with the perfect bob. So far, it's working great. It looks fabulous with the blow-dry at the salon, curly, and natural. I love it! Oh my goodness, and they entertained my one-year-old son so well I never had to worry one bit. He and Mommy loved the kind attention showed by everyone there. If you're looking for a good cut from a very gracious team of hairstylists ready to give your hair the time and consideration it needs, Mona's is the place to go. I'll certainly be back!
