I've been using Catonsville Hair Company as my only hair salon for the past 8 years. The atmosphere is extremely warm; there's generally some sweets from the cake place down the street, and there's coffee available while you wait for your appointment. The staff is incredible and attentive. Glenn, the owner is extremely funny, and I love listening to his stories. I work with Lisa and Claire, the most, though. They both do a beautiful job on my hair, cutting and dying it. I went in on Tuesday for a haircut, because my hair was just too long and flat on my head, and Lisa did an amazing job putting the layers in and making it look really sharp. Yesterday, I went back for a hair dye appointment, and Claire did a beautiful pattern of brown red in my hair that really makes it stand out, especially in the sun. I've been playing with different color reds for a while now, trying to figure out which kind I like the best, and this is, by far, the best coloring I have ever had! I'm the most impressed, and I love going to get my hair done, because the ladies and gentlemen there are just perfection. People always compliment my hair, so if you're looking for an awesome experience and a great hair job, check out Catonsville Hair Company! I won't go anywhere else! (They also do fabulous up-dos for special occasions, and I always love my prom hair!)

I am a first time client of CHC. I read so many glowing reviews first, about how kind, talented, and so warm the owner, Glenn is. That's why I finally decided to get my VERY long hair cut here. It's been growing for 3 yrs., and was past my waist. I was very picky on where my hair and I were going to go, to take this big step, literally. I called there this morning, and I was so happily surprised to hear Glenn answer the phone, even though it was well before opening. He was very accomodating to fit me right in w/no appt. this morning! I showed up, greeted by Kevin, who offered me coffee while I waited, and a large piece of cake to take home, or eat. How hospitable and generous of Glenn and his team, and they both made me feel like family, truly. I've never seen any other business do that. I was very impressed! As I took off my hat and coat, Glenn, came over to greet me, and he didn't even need to introduce himself, I knew who he was, by how he came over to me with his hand outstretched, kind eyes, and friendly smile. Lisa cut my hair, and she knew how nervous I was, and really listened to what I wanted. Her cut was exceptional, and she layered it just enough for me to have my bounce back! It's adorable, and my hubby loves it! It shows how much Glenn LOVES what he does, and he greets and treats all of his clients like he has known them forever. Everyone there was happy to be there doing their job. I felt that as soon as I walked in. You don't get that feeling very much these days. Glenn made me a lifelong client now, for as long as he will be cutting hair! I just wished that I would've known about him all of these years! I HIGHLY recommend anyone to just go once, and you will feel how I do. Thanks for everything! :D
