Yalonda Wynn owns this hair braiding business and also owns Stone Professional Tax Services. It is a horrible tax service. My mother and my aunt had their taxes prepared by Yalonda Wynn. Ms. Wynn quoted both my mom and my aunt a price of $190. My aunt chose to pay the preparation fee upfront (in cash) and she had no problems. My mom wanted to make her payment by debit card. However, Ms. Wynn convinced my mother (who's 83 y.o.) to allow her to receive her preparation fee from my mom's tax refund which is directly sent from the MI Treasury Dept. The rest would be deposited into my mom's bank account. However, when my mother saw her bank statement, it showed that Ms. Wynn took out an extra almost $90. My mother is on a fixed income and it's shameful that Ms. Wynn would take advantage of her. Ms. Wynn quoted her a flat fee and then took more than what they agreed upon. Also, we've been unsuccessfully trying to reach Ms. Wynn at the phone number she gave my mom. Of course, there has been no response. It has been two months.

Always a positive experience. I get what I come for and if what I originally decided don't turn out to be the best decision, the person doing my hair works it out to where I love the results of the next option. I can always get in for an appointment timely and the ladies are kind a patient with me. I love this place!

This was my first time going to My Sistah’s and Me, my stylist did a great job, I received many compliments on my hair, it’s been almost a month and I still get compliments. The staff was very nice…Thank you Bertice, you are extremely talented.

I scheduled an appointment for med knotless braids, for noon.... received a call saying my braider (Shana) had to make a run and needed to move the appointment to 2... no problem. I get there 10 minutes early... my braider isn't there... she walks in 10 minutes late... no problem, especially considering the young lady at the desk was so personable. Braider not personable, at all. I asked her immediately if she had a personal hair page, she answered "no" too quick... 5 hours later, I'm walking out the shop with a headache because my "tensionless" knotless braids are STIFF and SO tight, which i mentioned to her and she responded "yeah, cause i haven't dipped them yet"... perhaps someone should explain to her that dipping seals the ends.. not loosen them". She was obviously proud of her work because she wanted pictures. They are cute BOX BRAIDS... definitely NOT what I paid for. Looking at the other braiders work, they would be worth trying again... eventually.
