I was very unimpressed with my experience at Pure 1 Hair Studio... First off, I had an appointment at 9:00 AM, when I got there a few minutes before 9 the studio was closed and there was no one there. I called the studio numerous times with no answer until finally my call was forwarded to the owner's cell phone. I explained to her what was going on and she called me back a few minutes later stating the stylist over slept and would be there in 10-15 minutes. Okay no problem, its -12 out but I'll wait in my car. 35 minutes later the stylist finally shows up. I didn't even catch her name, but she did not once apologize for being late or the inconvenience. 3 hours later my hair was poorly done and it was no straighter than it was when I walked in. The stylist also cut my hair without even asking...Just whipped out the scissors and went to town without asking or mentioning it at all. At this point I'm just ready to pay and leave so I grab my wallet and hand the stylist my card. She tells me they don't take cards despite the front window clearly stating "VISA AND MASTERCARD ACCEPTED"...... This would have been helpful to know beforehand because I could have spent the 35 minutes going to the bank to get cash instead of waiting for her. So I had to go to the bank and come back to pay. Very frustrating experience and I will not be back.

Kay has really good service.. can't speak for the other ladies, I haven't met anyone else.

Catherine does really good hair and her prices are very fair. She remodeled the place...has a tv, has Wi-Fi (ask for password). Pretty good salon

Love that I found someone who does my hair the way I want, Augusta does a great job with my hair and it turns out great each and every time and the prices are very reasonable. I've been going for the past 2-3 months every 3 weeks LOVE IT
