I had terrible experiences with Nelle as well. I should have learned from her first no show. She completely slept through my 11 am appt. Then I gave her two more chances. Shame on me. Terrible, uneven haircut and really really bad color!!! I had to have both corrected by Aveda educators. After two color corrections over two months at Aveda my hair us healthy again and looks great. I will add more later about the color, debacle, but again she was late so instead of being late to her next appt., she had me leave the salon with raw yellow wet hair. In other words, I paid for her mistake. She told me the color looked beautiful...it was horrifying. When I texted her that it needed toning she sais we'd have to wait until after her garage sale...Then she waited five days to get back to me. I never texted her back since I'd already been to Aveda and was scared to let her near my hair. During coloring process she used squeeze bottle instead of brush and did not clean up spills, so color ran all down my cheeks near my eyes. I told her my skin was very itchy and she gave me a rat tail comb and told me to use the pick to itch my skin, instead of wiping it up herself like any normal professional. Nelle is horrible...sloppy, harried, irresponsible and unprofessional. Just manic frankly. She should definitely not have a license. She cut my thick wavy hair dry, fast and carelessly so it was uneven and did not notice or care. Something is way off here. And she's expensive. She charges as much as an actual professional who has accountability. She has none. Avoid avoid!! I've never seen such a lack of responsibility, mindfulness and professionalism and in an adult in her 50's. Wow!! Just unconscious!! By the way, Nelle does not rock. (Her own review of herself). Just scary!
