We love Salon Bambino! My 3 year old son is completely content getting his hair cut here. He zones out and watches the movie, and the stylists always get his hair done in record time! If he shows any signs of being uncomfortable, they do an amazing job showing him exactly what they're doing (ex: letting him see the clipper) and put him at ease. His hair always looks super cute, too. Would highly recommend it!

The owner is very unprofessional and rude. I had an appointment for my son at 4:30, and the stylist didn't start cutting his hair until 5:00. When I inquired about the long wait, the owner snapped at me. She said in a very rude, hostile manner, "This is a service business. Do you want your haircut or not?" The owner displayed this hostile behavior in front of the other children and customers at the salon. I couldn't believe how inappropriate and unprofessional she was with me. After my son's haircut, I told the owner based on the customer service I received, I would never come back. Her display of agitation clearly showed that she does not know how to effectively run a business. However, the stylist, Kelly, was pleasant and did a nice job. Too bad she has to work for such an obnoxious woman. If she wasn't the owner, she would be fired by now I'm sure. I don't recommend this place to anyone. The customer service displayed by the owner was beyond horrible. There are plenty of salons in Woodbury to go to where you will be treated with respect. The owner clearly has an anger management problem. She displayed anger from the very beginning of my inquiry about the time. Not to mention she specifically told me if I had a problem with her to tell her directly and not post it on Facebook. I did both: I confronted her about her inappropriate behavior and posted it on Facebook so others can make an informed decision about whether or not to give her their business.

Can I give it zero stars? Shocking and unpleasant experience when I called Salon Bambino to verify their price for a brow wax after being blind-sided by a $10 increase ($30-$40) for an adult haircut. The stylists were always nice but the cuts were not consistently worth the old prices. I mentioned that was a big price jump and she (I believe it was the owner) cut me off and said their stylists have been doing hair for 10 and 20 years and $40 is not a lot for that level of experience, and is very competitive. I WAS going to say I was just surprised at such a large jump and move on, but she cut me off again and said there are other salons and I could go elsewhere. I said with that response, I certainly would. I will not spend one single dime at this salon again. I was shocked since I was not at all rude and despite being blind-sided by the cost increase, which should have been communicated when I booked the appointment, I was willing to go back for another service. $40 for a basic wash and blow dry to make sure (hope) it is cut evenly is not a salon experience, and for $37 I can go to Rocco Altobelli and get a salon experience with a head massage and a style after the blow dry AND be treated respectfully.
