Lack of Experience...

Yoav Tauber did my hair, will NEVER come back! He is a good hairdresser, and you will receive a good haircut but he lacks experience in color. Multiple issues I had are as follows. 1. The picture that I brought, did not look like the end result. One rule of a hairdresser is to communicate with your client. e.g "Do you want your hair to have highlights or an all over dark color." I assumed that when I brought in a "ombre" photo I would have highlights. Nope. 2. The color formula was not right. Even after a fellow co-worker helped, it was not right. The roots were so dark and he didnt even weave any lowlights to blend in the root color. Additionally, any hairdresser knows don't put an ASH color over blond hair. Yep got dark roots and some grey hair. 3. He was not transparent about his color prices. When I went home and looked at the bill it said $285. He reports is was $200 for color. Oh my goodness. I am so so taken back by the unprofessionalism and rudeness of the receptionist at this salon. I called looking for a hair cut appointment in the $45 range, like their website says that they start at, and she was INCREDIBLY rude and said that they start at $55 and not $45 (still in the $45 range in my opinion) That wasn't an issue, so I asked what times they had available for an appointment today. She said they had 3 appointments open but when I asked what times, she kept telling me I had to tell her when I was free. Despite explaining I was on vacation and was going to be scheduling everything around this, she continued to not tell me what appointment times were available. Seriously? What gives...

The salon is beautiful and everyone is super friendly. Chet did an amazing job on my hair! I haven't had someone take their time on my hair to make sure it was perfect the way he did. I'll definitely be back!

Horrible experience getting my hair colored and cut. Wish I could give zero stars, but I'm stuck with giving at least one. Had an in depth consultation and told the stylist exactly what colors to use, what I wanted and didn't want. Color turned out completely what I didn't want and told the stylist this from the beginning. Response was they didn't know what to do to fix it. I had a family get together the next day and totally ruined the event for me. I spoke with the owner to get resolution to get my hair fixed, but to no avail. She yells at me and hangs up on me. Real professional top notch salon! NOT! Stay far away. They don't care about the quality of their work. Prior to booking the appointment, I inquiried how experienced the stylist was. All they say is they don't know but all of them are wonderful and have lots of training! Apparently this is NOT the case and the owner was super kind, compassionate and understanding....NOT!! Go to business school and learn a thing or two on how to treat clients.

Jennifer Johnston took the time to listen to what I wanted and took on the herculean task of fixing the mess of another stylist. She did an amazing job! All that and she's a doll, you'll love her!
