I'm a dude. If there's a place called a salon it automatically sounds not very dudely. This place is.
Rock and roll decor lines the walls. Metal and hard rock all over the place. Records, posters, etc. The color scheme is fun, sort of an intense mixture of red, black, and other decor.
Michael Stylez, the owner, is a veteran of hair care. He's dedicated to his craft and works hard to earn the right to be the one place where you get your hair fixed and looking its absolute best.
You can watch part of a movie, or anything on youtube while you get your hair cut and get a beer at the same time (assuming that you're of age). You just can't get this experience at any other salon.
I've had nothing but good experiences coming to this place and would strongly recommend it for others. Haircuts are reasonable and the environment is dude friendly in a world of notoriously girly friendly or simply vanilla mainstream unoffensive forgettableness. That's not to say that girls would find it offensive, intimidating or unfriendly, it's just that it has a tiny bit of badass edge, a real defining personality.
