I have only been coming here every time I ACTUALLY get time to pamper myself. Most of the time its for a cut & blow out or roller set. Estella is AMAZING. I went yesterday because I was in desperate need of a haircut (I over process my hair trying to do it on my own) and every single time I come to Estella because she just knows what to do, She doesn't get "scissor happy" either. Years & YEARS before I came to Estella, I hated going to hair salons because the beauticians would always cut too short from what I want or start talking about me to the other employees about my hair being too long & too thick to do what I request. (As if I'm not paying them to cut it!) Estella has been great. I only go to her over the last 5 or 6 years.(idk how long it's been because I started going to her when she was on Mt. Prospect in Newark). The services are great, the salon looks very updated in style & decor, the owner is very polite. Overall service is great & worth the money!

Salon Charges $65 for a trim, wash & blow out on an adult (with neck length straight hair) and $30 for a wash & blow out on a little girl (9 years old who has loose wavy shoulder length hair). This is an insane price for a salon on ghetto Washington Ave in Belleville..... The woman made up her own price when it was time to pay. I noticed this when she looked at the finished blow out and said â€œummmmmmmmâ€ before she gave me the price. Why would you have to think â€œummmmâ€ and look at the hair to think of a price if you work there and already know the rates? Neither of our hair is thick coarse or curly and no styling was done in addition to the blowout.. Those are always the main factors that would cost you more. ... Donâ€™t waste your time or money here. Go to a high-end salon in a nice area that will charge you the same price & give you better quality.
