This salon is a gem! Siobhaen does a FABULOUS job on all things from color to cuts to dreads and braiding. Natural or bright, this is your girl! She will treat your right and bring out a new you! Highly recommend, 5+ years experience, friendly and knowledgeable. I walked away feeling like my hair was looking magical and my spirits were lifted:) LOVE the salon, love the energy, love the people!

I love the vibe here. I sit with Elspeth and she does magic with my hair. I always feel great after going to her. They serve you with tea from St. James Tea Room, which is local and great quality, and are prompt and friendly. Plus, how can you go wrong with a salon that has a pun for a name and mixes math with art?

Jen A gave me the BEST haircut I have ever received! I have long curly hair and recently embraced the curls so have never gotten a haircut with my curl in mind before. She literally sat down with me and we talked about my hair goals and routine before she got the scissors out. She gave me recommendations on products and wash frequency to help with the dryness I've been dealing with since moving to the desert. We had a pleasant conversation and I was just blown away by the amazing service I received from her start to finish. The way she cut my hair and the treatment she did has the curls revived and bouncy again. I feel like a whole new woman and can't stop admiring my new 'do! Here's a before and after of the cut. It's such a good feeling to have found such a talented stylist. THANK YOU JEN! Can't wait to see you again!

David Gatt has been cutting my hair for 9 going on 10 years. I never leave Square Root salon disappointed. He is absolutely AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend Square Root for any service. Even if you don’t get your hair cut by Jason or David (owners) you’ll get exceptional service by all of their stylists. David is constantly teaching, making sure his stylists grow, learn new techniques and are sucessful.Not only do I love my amazing cuts from David. I love the vibe of Square Root. Very modern, upbeat and welcoming. I have nothing but good things to say about this salon.
