I made a 1 pm appointment for today. Went in and the hairdresser is looking for a dye with low ammonia in the supply closet. Takes about 5 minutes. Comes out with nothing. Then asked me to change chairs to start the dye process. No color sample. I asked where it is. She goes back to the closet. I can see her digging around in there. In the meantime my meter is running for two hours which she is aware of. (And they don’t have change there). Still taking too long. I told her to forget it. Service not so hot. Bad music, just a low bass subtly pounding in my head. Poor maintenance; dirty floors. Maybe the hair styling service is good but I was not getting a good vibe that it would be.

I have been going to Scalia for almost 6 years now. Adel is best hairdresser I found after having few bad experiences elsewhere. I live in Woodbridge and travel to Jersey City just for the haircut. So you can imagine how good he is.

Scalia has best skilled stylist. I have been visiting Scalia for more than two years now. Elisa is the best stylist. Every time I get my hair cut she takes her time to give a perfect hair style. The only catch at Scalia is waiting time. I remember few of my past visit, I had to wait at least 30-45 minutes. Wait time is totally worth it. I would totally recommend anyone who wants to give it a try.

I have been going here for 3-4 years. I lived in long island, manhattan, brooklyn and I travel to get here. It is all worth it. WHY? Because this place has the best hairdresser you will ever meet. Ask for RINA. You rarely meet someone so dedicated and truly loves what she does. And it reflects on her work. I leave happy and beautiful every time.

Been going here for years. Short hair and long hair, both cut beautifully. Great employees. I get trimmed and cut by a hair dresser named Mercedes, but they are all really nice.
