Best hairdressers in New York. I am very particular about my hair and Hair Bar never disappoints. I come once every few months for a men's haircut, and despite my infrequent visits, they remember what I like and how I want to get my hair cut. I like Leah - she is incredibly talented at what she does - but I'm sure everyone is great. The hairdressers are very friendly, the prices are good, and the haircuts excellent. If you know what you want or need suggestions, either way they will give you a great cut. Recently I made the mistake of going to a different hairdresser. I got a mediocre haircut. Now I won't make that mistake again and will only go to Hair Bar.

Hair Bar is a great place! Friendly staff, great products and services... I've never had to wait. I've gotten the 24 karat keratin treatment and struggled with the inhalation even with a mask on, but went back and spent extra for the silk touch keratin treatment. Well worth the money! It lasts extremely long, and there is no mask necessary during application-- I can breathe fine the entire way through which may be because it is formaldehyde free. My hair is also long but thin, and they've never charged me extra for their longer hair price. Ernie is my stylist of choice, but they're all good! My biggest complaint and the reason I took a star off is the lack of good ventilation-- the entire building smells like 24k keratin treatments. The products and services are good though, and I"ll keep coming back.

Hair Bar NYC is my go to place in the city and today I had Nancy Roze do my hair - keratin treatment, cut, wash and style. WOW. She literally transformed my hair from a mess to looking like I just stepped out of a magazine. All of the stylists here are so amazing, friendly and professional. They welcome you and are so accommodating. Nancy in particular really took her time and focused on every little detail. I can't recommend Hair Bar or Nancy enough. It feels like family here and my hair has never looked so stunning.

I got Brazilian keratin treatment done there. Now it has been already one month since my treatment, and I love it! The staff was very attentive and professional. Thanks Ernie! And the atmosphere of the place is pretty cool and fun:) Def will be back.

My first keratin experience and I am so happy with the Silk Touch. I was very nervous and did not know much about the product but I was explained the results and felt confident. The place looks a little scary and the stylist who was supposed to do my hair did not want to take me even though I had appointment. There was this was back and forward in another language I knew they were talking about me while I saw the front desk lady face turn red but she kept telling me everything was ok. I don't know why that styles didn't want to do my hair, my feelings were hurt a bit but the lady apologies to me and another stylist prepared me. I felt very welcome was offer coffee and tea I even got a Christmas ball with their products. I give 5 star because the service was great is not fair to take the salon down for one incident the rest of the staff made me feel very good. Thank you Hair Bar!
