We came to NYC for my brothers wedding and my mother called to find out how much it would be for her and I to get blow dries (she told them that we both have long hair.) They said 50, but when she went to pay they jacked the price to 70, claiming that the price was for a 'wedding party' - this had been mentioned on the phone, and no such wedding party price was quoted.
So I asked the receptionist if they really were just adding 20$ to each total because we told them it was for a wedding, and she changed her story and said it was because we had a lot of hair. Maybe they should have given a price range then, instead of saying it would be 50 flat, dependent upon the clients hair.
Meanwhile, my hair fell flat within an hour and is already frizzing up because the stylist didn't use enough product.
He also stuck my hair clip on the counter and I forgot to take it back, and when I went by an hour later to get it they had thrown it out because "it was just...there..."
