I have been going to DiMaggios hair salon for many years. It's like a home away from home. John my hairdresser gives me the best highlights and color. He is personable and always treats his customers with the greatest respect. I highly recommend this Salon.

I have been going to Dimaggio for many years. John does my highlights and hair cut. I have been getting compliments on my color since my first appointment. Everyone is so nice and friendly there. Anyone who writes a bad review on this place is lying. Best hair place in brooklyn. Thanks John!!

I just came back from this salon and ROY cut my hair. I am HORRIFIED at the HATCHETT HAIR CUT HE GAVE ME !!! Do not let him cut your hair! I asked for a long bob cut, layered at the ends ONLY, I showed him a picture and what he did to me was truly a butcher job! I was in tears...literally! He literally gave me two layers of hair in two big chunks. What I walked out with was what I describe as a 1980s shaggy cut look. Almost a mullet haircut! I had to leave because I could not believe what he did. My sister stayed back and asked for my money back. Roy came downstairs and gave her back $20, out of the $45 I paid him to look like shaggy dog. I cannot even tell you how BAD THE LAYERS ARE CUT. What he did to my bangs were beyond terrible (mind you, I NEVER asked for long bangs, especially how far back into my head he cut them). I now must wait several months for this disaster to grow out. AGAIN, STAY AWAY FROM ROY! He made no attempt to even explain how he did this to my hair (how can he justify this?!). All he said was, "oh, it's a nice haircut, but I guess you don't like it." I said, NO, I DON'T LIKE IT! THIS IS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR AND YOU BASICALLY BUTCHERED MY HAIR! AGAIN, HORRIFIED! RUN FAST .. RUN FAR..Do not let anyone refer you to this haircutter. I don't believe he was formally trained. I have no words for this mess!!
