I've struggled with my curly/wavy hair for years and Joy was the one who helped me gain some confidence in my hair. She gives amazing cuts, and not only that, helps you through the hair care curve of figuring out how to work with curly hair. I've gotten way more compliments on my hair since starting with Joy than ever before.

Great salon for curly gals - Joy taught my daughter and I how to take proper care of our hair. She is very knowledgeable and takes great care of her clients. We’ve been going to her place for last 7-8 years.

Joy is EXTREMELY skilled in curly or wavy hair care & styling! I was fortunate to get an appointment with her this week and I have to say she gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had! She expertly shaped my below shoulder length thick curly coarse hair as she gave me detailed instructions on how to properly care for and maintain my curls. If you are a curly haired person near Charlotte you need to see what Joy can do for your hair, she is truly a top level professional who will help your hair be the most beautiful it can be and healthier than it ever has been before! Amazing cut! Joy specializes in ONLY cutting and styling CURLY HAIR... She took the time to walk me through the process and cut the curls dry. This is the first time in my adult life that I've had a cut, tailored for curly hair, and did not have to fight with the stylist not to blow out my hair. I rarely wear it straight so why would I want to leave the salon not really knowing how my curls fall? When they actually didn't blow it out, I left the salon and immediately pulled it back because my hair was a frizz ball... Joy at Joyfully curly made sure I left ready to go and my hair was perfection. The best part is, I can style it by myself, the way she showed me, so I can have salon style look everyday. I am so happy with my cut and that I finally found Joy.
