I've been faithfully going to Refuge for 2 1/2 years specifically for my stylist Tasha. Before Refuge and meeting Tasha, I was at my wits end with my natural hair and was ready to buzz it off. Tasha was amazing right from the beginning and we connected immediately. Years later with her guidance and mad skills my hair is the healthiest it's ever been. I am so thankful for Tasha and Refuge Hair Spa. My hair LOVES the products (especially the rice water treatment *heart eyes*) and the steam technique that locks in the moisture content. Moreover, Tasha never feels like just a stylist; she legitimately becomes a friend. I trust her implicitly with my hair and she never lets me down.

I absolutely love Refuge Hair Spa! Alice is my stylist and she does an amazing job each time. I know my hair is thoroughly cleaned and in good hands. I especially love the steam treatments they offer. Looking forward to my healthy hair journey now that I’ve included a professional!

It started with a cancelled appointment and a Google search. I was supposed to be going to get my hair done back home but my appointment was cancelled. I did a search and found Refuge Hair Spa. I called when they opened to find out if they took walk-ins. Normally they are booked but Tasha was able to squeeze me in at 1030. I showed up about 1020. I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the salon was very relaxing. The decor was super inviting. It didnt smell like a salon but more like spa. I was given a new client form and sat for about 5 minutes. Tasha came up with another client. My first indicator that this was gonna be my salon home was when I seen her hair. The clients hair was flawless. The color was vibrant and it had so much bounce. Tasha introduced herself and we went and sat down. She asked me if I had any concerns etc and started to work on my hair. She told me from start to finish EVERY single thing that she was doing and why. I received a shampoo, conditioning, stream treatment, trim, and style. I love the fact they have their own Refuge products. With the steam you can pic to essential oils. I choose lavender and mint....bomb combo. The finished product was probably one of the best that I have ever had. My hair is past my shoulders but not to my bra strap. I'm in between. My curls feels like silk. It's so soft, bouncy, and shiny. I literally have been swinging it since I left. I made sure to make another appointment before I left. If you are looking for a salon I highly recommend Refuge Hair Spa. Tasha is very personable. We chatted and found out they we are both from the great state of Texas. Sometimes the stars align and the hair goes shine down on you. Today was my day.

No one does better blow outs that my stylist Tasha! I love her customer service and passion for hair. Every time I leave the salon, I feel like a new person. She is excellent and professional. I love her and she will always be my #1 stylist.

Knowledgeable stylists that teach you how to care for your hair. Clean and calming environment. Love the scents with the steamer! Arshana and the team were friendly and professional.
