Iâ€™m so done with this salon. I guess my great run is done. I loved coming in. The atmosphere was always wonderful but my last two experiences have completely turned me off and I wonâ€™t be returning. I got burnt on the side of my face and even the next time I tried a new stylist I booked the appointment at the beginning of the week only to get a text at 7:30 am the day of when my appointments at 9 from the stylist saying that she wasnâ€™t in town after all my confirmation emails and text. I am beyond disappointed because making arrangements before work and being up and ready was a waste of my precious time. Officially my last attempt to give anyone at this place a chance.

Keisha Hayes always does a fantastic job on my hair! I have thick bra length natural hair and every time I leave the salon my hair is so silky and smooth. I can tell she really strives to take great care of her clients' hair.

I have been in Charlotte for 10 months and I have tried two or three Hair Stylists since moving here. They were okay, but I need more than just a quick hairdo. Frustrated with my experiences, I did my hair at home 95% of the time, but knew I wanted and needed a professional doing my hair. I found this salon through a google search for Natural Hair Salons. I made an appointment with LaMonica for today(2/14/18). It was the best decision that I could have made for my hair. I love the fact that I had to fill out paperwork to share my hair regimen, hair issues and health. We talked about my hair and she gave me some tips on how to prevent dryness. I love the personal attention and concern of improving the health of my hair. I got a wash, protein treatment, cut and style. My hair looked and felt wonderful when she was done. She did an awesome job! I also saw the work of a couple other Stylists while there and they were great too so you canâ€™t go wrong choosing this salon. I purchased some products she recommended and made a few more appointments before leaving. I have finally found a Salon that works for me. Very nice and professional environment! Lisa

OMG if I could give more then 5 stars I would! I moved to Charlotte back in August and haven't been able to find a salon to call home but I have now. I hate to start over so I was terrified walking into the salon today but that feeling quickly went away once I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a welcome as soon as I walked in. All the ladies here are so nice but Keisha Hayes I'd the BOMB!!!! When I walked in my head was a hot mess but when I walked out I was dripping in finesse!!!!!! She did everything I asked for and more I'm so in love with my hair and the color can't nobody tell me nothing. My teenage son said mom you look hot so if it pass the teen so approval I will definitely be a regular and so will my 3 daughter's. Thank you so much for being so down to earth and thank you for being so talented I'm so happy I walked into Different By Design and set in Keisha chair!!!!

I would highly recommended this salon. From the initial call to inquire of their services, and my first appointment the staff was absolutely amazing. Jacquard my new stylist did an AMAZING job on my hair. I look forward to going every two weeks. The atmosphere is very RELAXED and professional.
