I tried the Blossom program at Blo and had a wonderful experience. I wanted some contrast added to my hair with a natural sun-kissed look. They take the time to really understand what you want and to explain your choices and possibilities. I appreciated my stylist and her mentor as they sought to give me exactly what I asked for. I would definitely recommend this Salon. Thank you Rachel for your thoughtful, careful work!

I've been coming here for a little over a year, after my previous stylist from another salon left the area. The atmosphere is relaxing - you're offered a beverage when you arrive and when you get your hair washed, they have massage chairs during that process. I've seen Kim, one of their more junior stylists, to get my hair cut each time and she always does a great job and is attentive to my needs. I am pretty low maintenance with my hair, but the price point, location, and energy of this salon will keep me coming back!

I had to go 3 times - the first time was to have my hair done and the other two was to fix what had been done. I went with pictures and tried to explain exactly what I wanted, which was a blend of my natural color and highlights of a golden and icy color blonde - pretty much a what I had but just a touch up to blend roots. The girl over high lighted my hair to the point where I had a massive headache that night. I had to go back because she toned my hair the wrong way which lead to the roots showing a harsh line. The mentor fixed it the third time I went and made it manageable. It was still way too golden and nothing to what I wanted but I gave up. On a side note, ask what made the stylist want to get into styling hair. The girl who screwed up my color did it because "she had to choose something." Location wise, very industrial which isnt bad but the music is so loud! Just isnt relaxing...but my main complaint is the lack of personal and caring touch and that they seriously messed my hair up. Overall, I don't recommend Blo. I recommend Ivy! She now has her own business and is incredible. She is on Instagram too! hair_by_ivy She listened to what I wanted and is so kind and personable. She looked at the pictures, talked me through the process, even worked within my budget. She said it was a total color correction, which it was, and now it looks amazing.

Britney cut my hair and she did a 5 star job, I have awkward fine hair and she made it nice and shapely and bouncy. I was nervous cause I had been with the same hairdresser in Ireland 10 years and had change due to moving to the area. Britney did a good job of putting me at ease and explaining what she wanted to do and I was happy with the outcome. The only reason why this review isn't 5 stars is to do with the salon itself. The general look is airy and trendy which I liked but it's missing little touches that you expect in a high end salon. I like to walk to in the door and smell a relaxing luxury scent and this salon didnt have that. The waiting room chairs are a bit tired and dirty and could definitely do replacing with something a bit cooler. They didn't have any herbal non caffinated tea options. The hair washing chairs could do with a massage functionality! Either way I will be back as it's the cut that counts in the end, it's just a pity the whole experience wasn't up to scratch.

The stylist took her time and really listened to what I wanted, and she knew how to handle my thick hair which is hard for me to find. All the other employees were nice and friendly. The salon itself was very nice and clean. I’ll be back!
