All of the stylists here seem so relaxed in their element, attentive to detail, and overall amazing at their work; they are obviously highly technical and educated on hair styling and care, and I feel like any of these stylists could get a client's hair fabulous! Big shout out to my own stylist, Patrick! He is an actual gem and rescued my hair from a hot mess. I really feel like I've found my star place for any hair care. Thank you so much!

I am the girl that never gets her hair cut. I have had the worst experiences with hair salons so I just don't go. It is always one bad cut after another. I did go to a chain salon recently and had bangs cut. They were not the greatest and not at all what I asked for. So I did a lot of research. I pulled up every salon in a 25 mile radius. I read all the reviews and bios of the staff. When I found Salon Povera, I was very excited. Brittany's bio caught my attention, so I made the appointment. I picked out a few pictures of what I wanted and one of exactly what I didn't want. She listened to me and understood me completely. She told me step by step what she was doing as she did it and the reason why she was doing it. My hair came out perfect! At one point I had to close my eyes because I almost teared up because I had literally never had a good hair cut! Ok, once when I was twelve, but that was years ago. I actually felt pretty when I left there and wanted to go and tell the world that I finally found that perfect hairdresser that everyone else always seems to have. Well, I am actually glad I waited to write this review because that gave me the chance to share what happened next.... I had errands to run and was in the department store and this man was staring at me. He came up to me and told me that he had seen me earlier but didn't say anything but he did not want to pass up the opportunity to tell me that I was gorgeous! (he specifically mentioned the hair) I am telling you, this girl (Brittany) , is amazing! I will never go anywhere else!

Staff is extremely friendly, great environment, and everyone was very helpful. Brittany is simply AMAZING!!!! My color was excellent and worked well with my skin tone. My cut was perfect and I truly enjoyed my experience with her. I would recommend her for color, cuts, and any tips or advice you may need on anything hair related. Absolutely love this place!!!!!

My old hairstylist moved and recommended Patrick at Povera. I was a bit nervous as my hair tends to have a mind of its own. I walked out of the salon feeling amazing! I don't think I have ever loved the color as much as I do now. The staff is super sweet and Patrick is awesome. I am so happy I found my new place!

Just had my hair done today and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome! Patrick took a chance with my very stubborn black hair and far exceeded my expectations with gorgeous highlights! Such a talented man and I cannot wait to continue this project with him! Thank you Patrick :)
