I'm going to make this as short and sweet as possible.
1. Brooke/Lindsay ruined my hair. There are visible patches, the ends are fried (she cut of almost 5 inches, how are the ends fried?), and the back of my hair is asymmetrical. There is almost half an inch difference in length from the left to the right.
2. My boyfriend set up this appointment for me. He spoke to Ashton, who assured him that it would be okay for him to pay for the haircut AFTER I was done. Now that I'm upset the owner of the salon THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE! After they told him that it was okay that I not pay, they called me a thief and threatened to call the police. What is wrong with them???
3. I tried my best to be nice. I was hysterical. I let a curse word slip (not towards the person I was talking to, mind you) and they refused to talk to me after that. Whoops, someone who's hair is so patchy that they can't fix it with another haircut got so upset that a curse word slipped. I won't lie, I LOST it when the owner got on the phone and called me a thief. Plenty of curse words flew. I screamed. I no longer cared whether someone was offended by my language at that point. But then again, if you were were given a haircut that was so bad that there was no fixing it unless you chopped it up to your ears, would you be okay with the owner trying to make you feel like it was your fault?
To wrap this all up, my boyfriend and Salon Blu made an agreement to take payment over the phone, I am unhappy with the haircut, I try to complain and receive backlash, and the owner herself calls me a thief and threatens to call the police because they no longer wanted to take payment over the phone.
Please, owner who refused to give me a name, call the police. Let them know that you no longer want to honor a deal that your receptionist made. Please let them know that instead of fixing the hair of a very upset customer you would rather blame-shift and call her a thief. You have my phone number.
To the rest of you considering going to Salon Blu in North Hills, do what you will with this anecdote. I am looking forward to Salon Blu's online response to this post.
I included pictures so you may see the damage for yourselves.
Edit: ma'am, there are no allegations. You called the police. There is a report. You took money from someone and then went back and filed larceny charges. If you would like to deny the allegations, I'll go ahead and pull the record and post them.
