It has taken me 6 years to finally have a wonderful haircut experience in Raleigh! From even before the haircut started, Shawna was amazing. I had the timings mixed up in my calendar, and she was super understanding about me rushing over a little late. She still spent time getting to know me and my hair and making sure she asked enough questions to ensure she gave me the cut that I wanted. I was really insecure about my hair since I am transitioning between a LOB and long hair, and she really gave me something that I feel great about despite the awkward length. She was SO nice and personable, and even taught me how to "style" my bangs and curl my hair in under 15 minutes. It was a great conversation as well, she asked me questions and was genuinely interested in my life.

Shawna is the best. Ever. EVER! Hereâ€™s why sheâ€™s great: If you show her a picture of something youâ€™d like, she can help you obtain it while still being realistic about your hair. On that same note, sheâ€™s not going to push your hair into something that might damage it - like going from very dark to platinum blonde. Hair has limits and she knows that. She uses super awesome products and makes great recommendations. If you have any concerns about your hair type, sheâ€™ll gladly give you plenty of tips and suggestions. Sheâ€™ll give you a haircut that will work with your lifestyle - if youâ€™re busy and donâ€™t have a ton of time to style your hair every day, she can help give you something that will look good without much effort. If you say you only want â€œa little bitâ€ trimmed off, she wonâ€™t surprise you and cut off a bunch! She exceeds expectations every time. Sheâ€™s the only hair stylist Iâ€™ve ever had who I trust completely! I usually just ask her to have fun with my hair and Iâ€™ve never once been disappointed. Shawna is also the sweetest person ever. Give her a visit, your hair will thank you.

Shawna is the best, hands down. She listens to what you want, educates you about your hair specifically, and does her magic. Her technique is amazing and you leave feeling super excited and happy about your hair. Sheâ€™s also a great person who makes you feel like youâ€™ve been friends for your whole life. I lost contact with her after she left her previous salon and have been looking for her ever since (5 years ago). She had only cut my hair once at that point but I instantly trusted her with my hair. Iâ€™m so glad I found her again, and she remembered me after all this time! Trust Shawna and you wonâ€™t regret it (or ever go elsewhere)!

Shawna was the first person I let color my hair and now Iâ€™m hooked! She knocks it out of the park every time. Her attention to detail is unlike any other hair stylist Iâ€™ve ever seen. My cut and color is always above and beyond what I expect every single time! An added bonus is that sheâ€™s down to earth and very easy to talk to!
