When I called, they didn't have availability but after they heard it was my prom, they asked Rachel, my stylist, to come in earlier. She did a great job of putting my hair in a perm rod set. Camila, another stylist, stepped in and made it super curly and bouncy, I liked that. I had a great time there however, it took too long to do my hair and they could have been more gentle on my scalp. Overall, a great salon for black hair that's also affordable.

TERRIBLE!!!! This lady combed out most of my natural hair. starting from the roots and just pulling the comb thru. I asked for a trim she insisted i get a hair cut. i agreed. she asked her manger for advise on how to cut my hair....smh she only cut the nape of my hair and said "the next time you come in ill finish the cut".....she didn't know how to cut hair. She probably was a new stylist who didn't know how to do anything but wash and condition., so i blame the manger for letting this happen as if i was some test dummy or practice.i will never ever return. neither will any of my natural hair friends and family. ill will make sure of it.

I took my 9 year old daughter in yesterday and I told hair dresser that her ends need trimmed and I wanted it straight but bump the ends. She took it upon herself to cut my daughters hair even all the way around and she curled it. My daughter is a tomboy she likes getting her hair flatironed but she doesn't like curls.Not only did she not follow directions she didn't talk to my daughter not one time.

The first time I went - late April, 2017, Talaysha was really personable and did a wonderful job explaining what to expect with transitioning to natural and what she was using on my hair. I was very pleased with her results. Early May, I had another good experience with Talaysha. So I thought, great.. I found a place and person with good service. Then, to my dismay, I get an email about a week later that stated Synergi was ending their contract at the Gahanna location effective June 1st. When I called, I was told that there was no change in staff or stylists so I made another appointment for early June and assumed my appointment was with the same stylist. However, when I arrived, the stylist were different and I couldn't remember the stylists name at the time. Shatoya did my hair and, although she was very nice and personable, I was not pleased with her work. She put too much oil in my hair then tried to blow dry it out with not much success. When she was finished, my hair felt like a wig and was not fully flat ironed.Yes, I could have said something but I didn't want her putting a flat iron to my hair again since it is not good for hair. So I basically paid for something I could have done better myself. I called the salon to find out the name of the first stylist and was told her name is Karolla. So I made another appointment for her. Upon arrival at the next appointment, I immediately noticed she was not the same as the 1st stylist. So I quietly walked out.
