Overall, I love this place! So much fun stuff to try 😊 I think they need to change the lighting in the store to better represent natural light. I have been a patron for several years and this is the first negative experience I've had. Long story short, I stopped in last weekend for my winter foundation and ended up with a tone too dark. My consultant was great! And to her credit, the tone she recommended did appeared to match my skin tone - in the store. The next day however, in different lighting is was way too dark. When I go exchange it, it'll be daylight and I'll go outside to see if it is a good match.

I used to like the store but the latest group of employees on the floor are awful. It was the worst treatment ever in a store. The next day I went back to the store and returned what I purchased. I was rudely treated as if I was a shoplifter and I really only needed my glasses to read the writing on the boxes. One texted for 2 more to show up and they got in front of the product and pretended to be awed by the product and fawned over it then asked if I needed any help. I just needed them to get out of the way and quit pretending it was the first time they saw the product. I will be ending my platinum status. Their behavior was very offensive. The product was tainted after the offense so I did not want it around anymore. Many other stores and internet sell the same products. RUDE FLOOR HELP

This review is for Kaylee. My new puppy tripped me over a curb and into a concrete walk. Love the puppy but hate the Big Black Eye. After swelling went down, I headed into Ulta and asked for their black eye expert. Kaylee took charge, expertly color corrected the red, purple and yellow discolorations (Tarte palette), added a strong concealer (Dermablend stick concealer), and set it with translucent powder (from It). Voila, no more black eye. When the eye heals, I will go back to Kaylee for advice about regular makeup.

I had a problem that happened due to an online experience and their customer service sent me into my local store location to assist in correcting the negative experience. I explained what happened to one manager, who immediately took full ownership and stated, "I won't turn away a guest because of an issue with online." There was another manager who tried to tell me that they would not honor what online said they would after the first manager said that she would. The two proceeded to have a conversation about it, making the sales associate uncomfortable, it was the blonde manager who made the situation seem really volitile but I wanted to recognize the first manager with the darker hair who said she was standing by her decision, even though the second lady was trying to call her out in front of an employee and a customer. I was impressed because she took over to ensure that I didn't have to explain myself all over again to a person (the blonde) who appeared to not want to fix what online said they would. Thank you to the brunette hero at that location!!!
