let me begin by saying when I visited this salon in October it was my First time getting my hair straightened in the 10 months I'd been completely natural and the first time in almost 2 years with a flat iron to my head.
customer service was great and the facility was nice and clean. my issue that i am just now coming to terms with is 2 things. 1st, my hair is Thick, coarse and and I have a Lot of it. one worker told my straight up if i had been sitting in a different stylist chair, they would have turned me away. ehhh... my stylist also suggested "you should straighten it more often because it will loosen your curl pattern". although said in a nice tone, this is a shady and rude remark to make. WHY would I want to alter my curl pattern and why are you all promoting natural hair services and you can't handle all types of natural hair??? well... I washed my hair after 2 weeks and my hair along my front perimeter did Not revert. we all know how attached we can be to our hair and more than that our Progress.. and it's taken me every bit of 3 months to get over the Damage that was done to my hair after One straightening in my first year. all I want is healthy hair and they really set me back. needless to say, it appears they are only interested in styling certain "types" of hair. but that's a skill set problem and not the consumer.
