Worst Salon experience of my life. I’ve been in and out of salons since I was twelve. And have never experienced this in my life. I booked an appointment with Kathy Rivers, unfortunately. I asked for a base color and highlights. Black base with chocolate highlights. And left with yellow and pink blotches all over my head. When I told her this was not what I asked her she became very aggressive. And said it was “my hairs fault” and I needed to pay for her service.......... She refused to fix it without charging me. So I refused to pay her. And she got in my face and said I’m not leaving without paying. She was unapologetic, unprofessional, and frankly does not know what she’s doing. I have never had a hair stylist bleach my hair for highlights without using toner or a color afterwards, and she wanted to charge me to do so. Please do not put your hair in her hands.
