Went in to get a 3 inch trim, they took 18 inches!
I was a walk-in for a simple trim. My hair isn't super fancy but it WAS long and thick (waist length). I said I only wanted a trim, and specified 3 inches of length taken off. The stylist said it really needed 5 inches off, and I agreed it could use the extra trim. The stylist then went off about how important and cool it would be if I would donate to Locks of Love and it would only be another 3 inches for 8 inches total. She showed me the measuring tape and promised it would not be higher than breast length. Reluctantly, I agreed.
I admit, agreeing to everything up to this point, is my fault. But I was ok with having a hair cut 8-10 inches below shoulder length (8 inches cut off).
The stylist put my hair in a ponytail, and hacked it off. Literally hacked. She's then spent another 10 minutes trying to even up the mess she had made until I had only shoulder length hair left.
18 INCHES CUT OFF!! When she finally turned me around and I saw what she had done I told her it was way too short. Her response was, "well, it was uneven so I had to fix it. But it's cute, right? " she then offered to take $10 off the $45 price because it was shorter than agreed on. THEN she handed me my hacked off ponytail and told me they don't actually do donations, and I needed to take care of that myself.
Don't go here. Ever.
