Kristen has been my go-to for almost 2 years; I was formerly a barbershop loyalist. After two years of monthly visits, I can honestly say she is the best barber I have ever had. She can consult, style, and cut a variety of hair styles and types; and worked with me all the way from buzz cut to a full head of hair with styling. The owner works in the salon, and has refreshed the look multiple times while maintaining and updating the facility and furnishings. He and his staff have always been kind and make booking appointments easy (email, phone, text). At some point they will probably need to charge more at some point to keep up with the extreme gentrification going on around them; the skill level of the staff and quality of the service are worth far more than they charge me for a haircut.

Kristen is the best stylist. Great atmosphere and customer service. The shop doggie Dolly is an adorable bonus.

Alicia has been doing my hair for over 12 years...SHE IS THE BEST! So is her staff...love them all!

Have never left Altra with a cut or color I didn't love. Have been going to Alicia for years.

Friendly, considerate when trying to accommodate your schedule. Have gone to Kristen for several years and I'm always happy with my head message and warm hair treatment, and my cut. Have worked with others when Kristen is on vacation and am happy then too. Water and coffee offered too.
