Ulta stores give me mixed feelings. Sometimes I get great service. Sales people are attentive and full of info. Other times they practically sneer at you. It’s infuriating and hurtful. I’m a large sized lady and love all things beauty. When I feel I’ve been treated poorly, I tell whoever is playing manager and order online. Their customer service is always pleasant.

When the posted opening sign says 10 am and they allow you to stand outside in the RAIN at 10:09 am.....AND come up to the window and stare at you like you’re crazy?! At least let me stand inside the door until you open the register so im not soaking wet by the “time” y’all open!! Not sure why they werent ready to open at the posted time? Customer comes first always....

My usual stylist was sick and I had to do an emergency root fix at home before going out of town. Scheduling conflicts prevented me from making another appointment when I got back so I decided to book here to get my color fixed up and a trim. The cut came out fine (not perfect, but okay). When I got home I looked closer and saw there was dye on the back of my neck and ears and she didn't rinse well enough so my scalp looks like it was painted on one side. What was worse was how awkward the whole situation was. While my dye set I was left alone with nothing to do but play with my phone. It's an open air salon; so I'm sitting out in the open in the store, no one checking on me, nothing to do but stare at the wall or floor. In fact, it almost felt like I was being ignored. Plus, the shampoo station is in the back next to an exit door and it was freezing. Price was on par with a lot of places, but at other places you aren't left totally alone with nothing to do and no one checking on you and you leave with undyed skin.

NEVER LET THEM ORDER ANYTHING TO BE SHIPPED TO YOUR HOME !! My granddaughter and I always splurge and pamper ourselves by shopping together at ULTA Hendersonville. Last visit there were two items that they ordered for me and when it arrived, it was not what I ordered. Asked for refund and was told to call customer service, then customer service said we did not order this from them. MONRY EAIDTED ! Will not be back!
