I have used Great Clips for years, where I have had some of the best and worst haircuts of my life. Over those years, I have learned to ask who has the most experience in cutting hair, and at no location has this ever been an issue... until here. Amy, the manager, was apparently deeply offended that I dare ask such an outrageous question and proceeded to scold me (I kid you not), telling me rather than ask "who has been cutting hair the longest," I should ask "who has the most passion." Well, Amy, while you may struggle with being triggered and finding a safe place on a daily basis, I can assure you that the person that gave me a bowl cut down in Columbia was quite passionate about it, yet had only been cutting hair less than a few months.
After all was said and done, guess what? Great haircut. Imagine that. Asking "who has the most passion" yields a most absurd metric. Asking "who has been cutting hair the longest" is not. It works. Deal with it.
