I really hate to leave a bad review but I had an all around bad experience starting from entering the salon. Firstly,The hairstylist really needed to be trained in customer service. It took so long to have me signed in and to tell me where to sit.(Mind you, No one was in the shop at the time.) Nextly,The ladies at the check out counter seemed as though they didn't want to do my hair type, or know how to do multiethnic hair. They looked at me confused and seemed to have an attitude with me. I showed them a picture of the haircut I wanted and it didn't turn out like the picture at all. Huge disappointment!! She also stated I needed to spend $57 to achieve this look, which I was not going to pay that much for my hair. My hair doesn't require a lot so I know she just wanted to hike up my bill. When it came to my haircut she couldn't deliver the haircut I wanted. She cut a little more, and put molding and that helped but still wasn't what I wanted. I noticed my hair being extra dry the next day and the style just didn't hold. I am all around dissatisfied in this salon. I really wanted it to be a great experience, and to have a fabulous haircut. But that didn't happen and it was my birthday. I will not be returning, and will have to find a professional to fix my haircut.

I had a nice experience with a hair stylist named Dee. She was wonderful. I did later trun into some issues with another emoloyem, but Ms. Barbara handle it immediately. I would strongly recommend Melody and Dee.

Will never go here again Last year had hair cut , dyed and highlighted. Looked very nice. Went back in March for a touch up. Woman never put in system what she used. So I got a haircut. They were slightly busy so the manager or ACTING MANAGER by the name of Kim cut it. I showed her a picture and what I went home with was no way near what I showed her! Right side was extremely short. I had to go somewhere else to get my head looking better for a wedding . I don't know who trained SmartStyles stylist,but she was clearly out of touch. Good luck if you want to take that chance!
