Jamie is amazing! My daughter’s layers, highlights, and hair cut is beautiful! The staff is always helpful and we love coming to the Seaholm location. Highly recommend.

Can’t say enough good about Ruiz Salon. I’ve been getting my hair colored here since I was in college. Love the silky robes, hand massage, lovely shampoo experience and the quality of the colorists.

My experience at Ruiz was absolutely terrible. I was on my way to my 5:00 pm appt and running a little late. My work held me up, and it was not in my control. I always try to be 10 minutes early, so I already felt guilty. I wanted to be courteous and call to inform them I would be 8 minutes late (I live just about 4 blocks away, but, traffic). The receptionist said, "the stylist says he is very busy and will not be able to take you in if you are 8 minutes late". I mentioned that this appt is very important because I needed a blowout done for a film and was very sorry for being late. Thankfully, they said to come in. However, when I walked in (feeling frazzled and embarrassed for being late), the stylist looked at me up and down, then went around the corner with someone else. They had a little "whisper meeting" and came back and said he would do my wash and someone else will carry out the rest. While I was extremely grateful they still serviced me, I felt judged and humiliated instead of being met with graciousness and service. The kicker, is that my service only took 30 minutes and the original stylist just stood by the reception desk THE WHOLE TIME. He had time to take me in, and instead was rude. I gave the woman who did my blowout a 140% tip. However, I will not be back.

grateful to adam and greg for the time they spent on my hair cut and color during my first visit to ruiz. there were some hiccups with scheduling, but adam and greg are great at what they do and made sure i was happy with my results. i don’t love aveda’s hair products and wish the salon offered other options, but overall i was happy with how everything turned out!
