For years I've been getting my hair done at a high-end salon and paying $80 for a haircut. When my hairstylist quit, I decided to give Boardroom Salon in Allen a try. Hairstylist John is amazing and is definitely an expert at his profession. He's also very personable -- one of the best I've seen. It doesn't get much better than this so if you're thinking about coming here, there's no reason to hesitate.

This place is a sham!!! They give off the appearance of a good salon...and thats where it ends. I paid 45 dollars for an express cut. I got my hair done by John who was very well reviewed so i scheduled specifically him. I hoped he'd know what to do with my long hair how to style it and what not. I told him to keep it long. He then proceeded to use a 4 guard on everything then chop my bangs off. I now according to my friends and coworkers look like an almond, the kid from the Christmas story and the kid from scary movie 3 and the kid from the Middle. Not good looks at all, and what stings even more was this was supposed to be a good place. What i received is on par with my worst experience at a chain haircut place. Be warned most of the reviewers are probably middle age men with straight hair which is easy to cut and they were just bought with their complimentary beer....STAY AWAY

I have been a member of the Boardroom Salon for Men for the past 9 months. You get free drinks. Staff is very professional. John is the man, master craftsman and he is very consistent. He takes care very well and also he has a style. I have had other stylist have difficulty with my hair but, not John. He handles it perfectly. Finally, Great place to go where they treat their styling like an art!!!

I loved it! Definitely worth the price and the staff is super attentive, conversive and professional. Angelica and Rose were great conversationalists and made me feel right at home! The experience was relaxing and invigorating - just what I needed.

I don’t usually splurge but I get my haircut twice a month and a beard trim . John does both. The guy is flat out a pro. I don’t mind paying more here . John is excellent and focused every time . Cant recommend him enough !!
