My experience was horrendous.I scheduled an appointment with this stylist name Adriunna Brown on her website for 12:30pm only to wait and hour after my scheduled appointment to be serviced. I drove an hour out to get my hair done which was a stretch for me because I had other engagements to attend to only to get canceled because she was so late getting to me which was extremely unprofessional. She had a client in her chair right before my appointment. When I told her that my appointment was at 12:30 she acted as if she didn’t know for one, didn’t apologize to me for the inconvenience, didn’t refund my deposit for making that appointment at that particular time in which should’ve been an automatic being that my appointed time was null and voided when she was an hour late, took her precious time with the girl she had in her seat prior to which was a total disregard to me! That’s only the beginning. When she got done doing her client’s hair she instructed me to go to her chair that was full of hair. She didn’t clean up her station prior to me walking to her seat which was completely unacceptable. She wasn’t wearing a mask during this time of a pandemic going on which was extremely risky for my health. When I asked her if she knew whether or not I had an appointment at that time she got an attitude with me and proceeded to say that she knew that I had an appointment just not at that time. Well the answer to my question should’ve been NO!!! All of that wasn’t called for. She walks me to the shampoo bowl and started to wash my hair. I asked her how long does this particular style last that I was going to get because I’ve never gotten a style like that before? She gets extremely sarcastic and rude joking around with the other stylist in the salon about how much money I make saying that I will be her VIP client if I came back to her every other week to get maintenance done on the style. I’m thinking to myself how rude is it for this girl to say that and I would never based off how your treating me! She’s lucky that I stayed for that service and got the rest of the money out of me. Anyway after the shampoo I showed her what products I wanted her to use on my hair and she was cool about it but the other stylist chimed in asking if I brought my own shampoo and conditioner as if it’s a problem that I brought my own products 😕 and any of her business. I’ve never seen such unprofessional behavior in my life! Then my stylist kept stopping and talking in the middle of doing my hair after she was already late getting to me. Then I asked her if she could trim my ends because on her website it said that that was included. She cut too much of my hair off for one and the cut is uneven. I am so sick about it too now I have to get a corrective cut done by an actual professional that provides better quality work. She braided my hair up for the style which wasn’t bad the braids weren’t too tight however when she started to sew the hair in the tension from the thread was unbearable. While she was doing it I told her it was too tight. She basically said that it should be a little tight to last longer by giving me a snide remark stating “it’s in there “. Then she kept dropping the comb with hair and dirt all on the floor and was going to put that same comb that she dropped back into my clean head of hair. Caught an attitude when I stopped her and then put the comb back in the basket with the rest of her combs. For all I know all of her combs were contaminated. She had the barbicide on the counter she could’ve simply just dipped it in the jar and wiped it off to make me feel better. She wasn’t accommodating at all! I texted her in a polite manner and asked if she could loosen the thread up in my sew in because the pain was getting worst and guess what no response!I have never experienced such buffoonery in my life! I had my friend take down my sew in that I paid 150 for a week later because I couldn’t stand the pain and was scared that the tension from the thread was gonna take my hair out. My scalp still feels like it’s in pain! Never again!
