I didn’t catch the lady’s name who cut my hair but this is her (SuperCuts photo) - Naide or Nadine? Her accent is very thick, she speaks softly, & wears a mask so I didn’t hear nor understand what she was saying especially with my hearing loss & the buzz of the clippers. I requested a 1 on the sides, medium fade, trim & thin the top. She started buzzing all the way around my head then asked where I wanted the medium fade. If I could have walked out I would have. No one is 40+ years of getting my haircut has ever asked where I wanted the medium fade. Needless to say it was lower than I wanted but the damage was done so I asked her “a little more” then “a little more” until it was decent. I didn’t want to keep going because I didn’t need her messing up a simple fade. When she finished, it was quiet enough in there I did hear her say “ok, thank you. I think I did a good job but if you don’t think so, my manager is here if you want to talk to her”. What? Wow? She removed the smock then I realized she never put the paper around my neck & I was covered in hair all over my shirt & inside my (under) t-shirt. Please advise this stylist how to effectively communicate with her customers. Disappointed does not begin to describe my experience.
