This was my first time to visit this salon and I picked it because it was close to home. My son and I stopped in here because there was a large sign in the window advertising "Walk-ins Welcome". Well, apparently they aren't. My son and I walked into this salon at 4:15 on Saturday. There was one customer in a chair, one person working on that particular customer's hair, and three other people standing around. No one spoke to us when we walked in. Instead, we were met with blank stares and whispers as if we had interrupted a party. When I asked if they could do a quick trim on my son's hair, the response was, "ummmm...we don't have time". I asked if they were closed and the reply was "no". Confused, I asked what time they close and got a quick reply of "5:00". My response: "We will go somewhere else". And we did. I was able to drive to another salon where we were greeted when we walked in, waited on a couple of other customers, and still had my son's hair trimmed nicely all before 5:00. We learned our lesson. Just because it's convenient and close to home doesn't mean it's worth it. I much prefer to go out of my way to be treated respectfully and made to feel welcome. People remember how you make them feel. Customer service is key!!
