dont even want to give one star.
cant write anything about their service because I couldn't even get the workers who were there to stop eating OR get out of their chair!!! Claimed they were "about to close" at 4:05....they close at 5pm.
My 80 year-old grandmother was visiting from another state, and she wanted her hair curled and set ( and maybe trimmed if she needed it) so i wanted to pay for it as an early mothers day gift. Since i had to do some shopping anyways, we stop in at the hair salon inside of Walmart and ask if they could do it. The first lady sitting in one of the client chairs(not behind appt desk) eating a watermelon, tells me they dont have time because they are about to close. I ask what time they close (5pm) and looked at the clock, it read 4:05. If a wash and a curl takes more than one hour, they should be willing to stay an extra 5 minutes, right?
She (the first lady) proceeded to try to further discourage me by adding up the prices and that if the hair needs to be trimmed, it will be extra...and im like i dont care, i want to do this for her.
The first lady then says she has an appointment, so she cant do it. then she asks the other worker(who was folding towels) in Spanish if she wanted to take it. So i respond in SPANISH that this is a mothers day gift, they still have an hour until they close...really trying to push my case. but the other lady was shaking her head and shrugging her shoulders. There was a third lady sitting in a client chair with wet hair and a towel, but i honestly couldn't tell if she was a worker or a client who was forced to wait with wet hair while her stylist finished eating...
Keep in mind, the whole time we are talking nobody had even bothered to stand up or stop eating or use any good customer service skills....but long story short we didnt even get past the entrance.
All in all, I guess i am happy that they obviously pay their workers enough that they can be so quick to turn down a paying customer, but i wont be offering them my time or money ever again.
