Soon after 18|8 opened in Hughes Landing my older brother recommended I try it out; since then I have made this location and stylist Jacqueline my hair salon of choice. I have very thick curly/wavy hair and it can be a lot to handle at times, especially in the humid climate we have here in The Woodlands, TX. However, Jacqueline has been so great at making it so easy to take care of my hair that I really never worry about it. She does such a great job at finding the right style and haircut for you. What is so great is that she doesn't just cut your hair and leave. She takes the time to teach you how to take care of your hair and sets you up for success. Personally, I wanted to grow out my hair a little and instead of letting it just grow out like crazy and then cleaning it up, Jacqueline advised me on what to do and she helped me keep my hair under control as it was growing. I change my hairstyle often but Jacqueline, as well as 18|8, are always there to make sure I look my best! Would highly recommend to any guy looking to always get a solid cut.

I have been going here since April 2016; started with and continue going with Jacqueline. I think 20 months of service speaks for itself but I'll expand. She has been great and provided a look I thoroughly enjoy. From the start she wanted to make sure I knew why she was cutting my hair the way she was, how it was being formed into a style. She also took time to explain what I needed to do at home to recreate the look while also explaining how different products would work with my hair type. I would recommend trying out this salon and asking for Jacqueline. They offer plenty of services and perks.

18 and 8 is by far the best place to get a haircut. I am a highschool and Brooke is great at cutting hair for young men. I also like 18 and 8 because it is very simple and the hair stylists really work hard to get you what you want. If I could add more stars I would! Come and check it out, it's the best!

I’ve been going to 18/8 for almost two years now and from day one, the level of service I’ve gotten has been outstanding. From the comfortable waiting area to the various hair products for sale, they have everything I need for my hair needs. My stylist, Jacqueline, is always cheerful and friendly and does outstanding work. My hair isn’t the easiest to cut but she always does an excellent job. I would recommend 18/8 and especially Jacqueline to anyone looking for a new place for their grooming needs.

I highly recommend 18|8 and Jacqueline. She is always personable, professional, and understands my hair better than I do and what it takes to make it look good! The only suggestion I would make is to maybe set the temperature a few degrees warmer as it is sometimes a little bit cold in there. But other than that, again, I highly recommend 18|8 and especially Jacqueline!!
