I visited the Sister Sister salon at the Richmond location to get sengelese twists. If I could give them a zero for this review I would. My experience at the salon was a nightmare. Not only did they take too long to do my hair (12 hours). The women there was not experienced. They had to be redirected by the owner and told what to do constantly. The two women who bradied my hair made my braids super thick. It was so thick and heavy that I could not put it up in a ponytail. They had my twists looking like Janet Jackson's box braids in Poetic Justice, but the twists are not suppose to be that thick. Please don't go to this salon they will take your money, and u will leave unsatisfied. They charged me $220 for the braids and $40 synthetic braiding hair. I ended up taking it down that very night it was too heavy on my head. To add insult to injury, the owner Mimi did not want to give me any type of discount because I was not satisfied with the work, she argued with me instead.

I've been coming to this location since they opened and I absolutely love the work they do. I can call Meme (Owner) at any time and she answers. The work done here is great and the quality is superior. I will continue to come here.

Terrible, I went there excited to get hair done and the lady was "stuck in traffic" and had me waiting for 45 min. Until I decided to leave cuz she still wasn't close

I have never had any problems at the shop. I love my hair and i prefer this location than hwy 6.

I went there years ago and the crochet braids they did took my hair out, The experience was an ordeal and I would not recommend going to this shop overall. (I waited for a long time and only after over an hour did the person who was supposed to do my hair show up.
