I decided to try out the salon here and get a haircut, and sadly I won't be coming back. When I arrived, there was a lot of confusion with my appointment, and the guy that I was scheduled to be with was MIA for a few minutes. The guy that did my hair was really rough my with head/hair. He used blazing hot water to wash my hair, and when handling my hair with a brush and comb, he brushed so hard that I would flinch at the hair brush by the end of it. He also did not have a care in the world that he kept slapping my face with my own hair. I noticed many times he also lost control of the scissors, but he mentioned he was one of the instructors, so I'm not sure what's up with that. It took him less than 10 minutes to cut my hair, and TWICE that to dry it. Did I mention that the equipment they use are not clean? Because I kid you not, he was plucking out someone else's hair strands from the brush he was going to use to dry my hair. When drying my hair, I could feel it getting completely damaged with the way he was handling it. I know I'm not an expert, but my hair was getting all entangled and roughly pulled with the roller brush he was using. I was not in a good mood at this point. By the time he was finally done, I still was not satisfies with my hair, but didn't wish to ask him to fix it only for me to go through all that again, so I just let it go. During check out, more complications... and I've lost all patience by that time. I definitely won't be coming back.

I love this place! Parking is great (not so much during the holidays )and the staff is very helpful. I can count on expert advice on applying or using any kind of product Ulta has. And I always know what's trendy for the season.

Stay Away from the salon!!!!! Made an appointment and when I got there they had randomly deleted and said they couldn’t contact me because I had a note in my file saying do not contact. Had been looking forward to the appointment and had a babysitter and everything and all they could say was we would love to reschedule you we deleted it because we wanted to discuss how much services were going to cost. Ummm ok that could have taken three minutes when I got there. Worst experience In customer service ever. Don’t waste your time going to this outdated fake salon Lubbock has plenty of better places especially since it’s not like the price is cheap.

I drive all the way from Dallas to see Lindsay at the Ulta Salon in Lubbock. That's how amazing she is! Everyone has always been helpful and friendly. Best location I've ever been to.

Jimmy is amazing! He went above and beyond to help me find a quality product and answered all my questions without making me feel stupid. Ulta needs more employees like him.
