My daughter wanted her hair dyed for her 10th birthday, I called around and decided on this salon based on my mothers recommendation and when I called they quoted me $85 to get the tips dyed. I had NO IDEA it would end up being $170 🤯 I have never dyed my hair so I really have no idea how much this costs and while $85 was expensive I figured it was probably necessary since her hair would need to be bleached. At no point in the 2 hour process did the stylist mention anything to me about cost, but I did mention numerous times that I have never dyed my hair. Did she take advantage of the situation and charge me more because I am clueless? Did she really think a 10yr old needed a $170 dye? It looks great and my daughter is so happy which is why I didn't cause a scene and demand to speak to the manager, but doubling the price without telling the client is RIDICULOUS and absolutely unprofessional. I almost bought gift cards for mother's day and I'm glad I didn't because I will not be reccomending this salon
