Hedwig's is a cute, locally owned business that I always leave happy. Vanessa makes me almost forget that I'm getting my haircut with all of the fun and easy going conversation. She does a phenomenal job for a reasonable price, I recommend her to anyone with hair!

Vanessa is the absolute best there is. I have searched long and hard for someone to manage my thick, wavy hair and she does it with such ease! I used to be terrified going for haircuts because my hair texture seems to trip some stylists up, but now I always walk out feeling confident and getting compliments on my hair. No matter if I go in for a trim or major change, I always love the result!

They are so humble, but are truly Milwaukee's premiere hair cut designers. I love the environment, the relaxing wash, but most of all the fact that they focus on haircutting alone. I have hard-to-cut hair because it is both fine and unevenly curly, plus I'm a picky client who wants to simply wash and wear my style--basically a hair stylists nightmare ;-) I have gone to salons all over Milwaukee and even a couple in Chicago, but have had the best haircut at Hedwig salon, by both Cassidy and Vanessa.

It’s scary moving to a new city and having to find a new hairdresser, Cassidy did an amazing job of making me feel welcomed and making sure my haircut was exactly what I wanted. You do have to book several weeks ahead but it’s easy to do online. I promise it’s absolutely worth the wait.
