I got my eyebrows waxed at Vivid yesterday. I asked for them to be shaped lightly and for the extra hairs to be removed that weren't part of the shape of my brow. I think that the lady who waxed my eyebrows was Katie. She left me with about 10mm off of the middle of my brow and the arch is very high. Before waxing, I had thick and almost flat with a slightly arched brow and now I'm left like this...

I called last minute to get my eyelashes tinted for my wedding. I was so stressed and had so many things to do, they accomodated me, made me feel calm and the rests were awesome. Highly recommend them.

First things first, I had two things done at Vivid, my nails and my eyebrows. I'd like to say that my nails, done by Medina, came out SPECTACULARLY. Pictures are included. Medina had actually already left for the day when I got to the salon but when I asked for a full set of gel nails on a whim the reception staff called her and she went out of her way to come back in! Thank you so much Medina!! It's also noteworthy that the reception staff was friendly and helpful. However, when it comes to how my eyebrows came out I'm distraught. I saw Katie, asked for a clean up, and mentioned I didn't like how the outer edge of my right brow after the arch was thicker than the left. Instead of waxing down the offending spot slightly, I left with significantly thinner brows than I came in with, with an arch that came straight out of 2005. I could have lived with that. What was most upsetting though is that she actually WAXED OFF about 3 mm of my right brow on the inside. My brows are now visibly wonky, and I'm two days from leaving for vacation. When I left my appointment Katie was talking about how they'll 'grow in better now'; it seems to me when you go for a wax you shouldn't immediately be looking forward to when your brows grow in again. Not to mention they'll take at least a month to grow in. Until then I'm left brows that look like I made a mistake when I waxed them myself. :( Pictures of my natural brows and my post wax brows are included. My post wax brows are penciled in to the shape the were waxed to.

Iâ€™m always really paranoid to get my hair trimmed when Iâ€™m growing it out, but Belinda did such an amazing job. All the split ends are gone and it looks super healthy but it doesnâ€™t look like Iâ€™ve lost any length! I highly recommend her!
