Used to go there when I first moved to Newmarket. The owner at the time was one of the haircutters as well, but he got into some accident and never was seen at guys and gals any more. Since then I found a new barber, which cuts better and cheaper, but they were busy so I gave guys and gals another shot. After not being there for a year, they changed the look to make it more modern which was nice. However, the cut is awful. I asked for number 1 on the sides and back, one of the older European dudes basically faded my hair except I didn't ask for a fade, and the fade isn't even proper. The back was messed up and not blended properly. My left side burn is at the top of my ear while my right side burn is around the middle. I used to get better cuts and maybe he just messed up, but for 26 bucks it's gotta be better.

Went here because the reviews were decent and was close by. I got asked once how I want my cut. She asked if i was ok if her apprentice watched, which was fine with me. But she spent the whole time talking to him she never asked me if the cut was good or bad. She also buzzed around my ears crazy high which looks very strange. Lastly her apprentice asked her how do you know how he wants his hair, and she responded "these are my clients, I know how they want it cut". Just to clarify I have never been there before. Needless to say I will be wearing a hat until my next haircut.
