As new customer, I was being served by Kayla while 'Sam' cut the hair of a young child. I was blown away with the kindness Sam showed this young man. Having run out of lollypops, I overheard Sam tell the kid he "owed him a treat" and (with mom's consent) they walked over to the store where Sam bought him an ice-cream. Kayla was attentive, provided recommendations without being pushy and made me feel very comfortable. I will return to Kayla. Cut and highlights was about 50$ cheaper than the salon I went to downtown. From now on, I will bring my three children to Sam; rare to find a barber so good with kids.

The place doesnâ€™t even look finished and they charged me $300! No decorations on the walls and it looks a little empty? Totally feel like they â€œsized me upâ€ once I got there. The owner had a glance at my purse and called the lady doing my hair to the back to talk. Then they tried to pressure me to get extensions when I only came in for a colour and trim. She didnâ€™t even lighten my hair half of what it could have been. Bad first experience here

AMAZING SALON! Lindsay rocks, I always walk out more than happy! She does an amazing job every single time! The salon has an awesome atmosphere and I always look forward to going in. Very reasonably priced!

Had an appointment with Sam to get my hair coloured. My hair was too dry/fried/colour was uneven to get done today, (understandable) nothing really we could do other then tone it, I wasnâ€™t even there for 2 minutes and he gave off this unfriendly rude vibe, I would have booked another appointment a few weeks from now if he would have just been a little bit more friendly and welcoming. So I just kind of nodded and got up, no â€œHave a nice dayâ€ or â€œthanks for coming in anywayâ€ etc. You know those people that are almost too blunt and it comes off as rude? Yeah. I donâ€™t know if thatâ€™s just his personality or the way he talks but damn does it ever come off as not friendly and like he has no customer service or people skills.
