I am going to start this review off my saying how truly hurt I am that I have to write this. I was deceived for so long, and can’t even fathom that a business that is supposed to be about making people feel good, allowed this to go on for so long. I started going to bombshell extensions about a year ago, and switched from the tape in extensions to the microweft method that they offered. I though all was going well until coming to a different salon to have my colour done today. The purpose of me coming to a different salon in the first place was that they were unreachable for several weeks, and upon finally getting a response they were so unorganized that they couldn’t even figure out who I was. I was a client at Bombshell for a year. The amount of bald spots, sores, and hair loss I have is unfathomable. Had someone told me 6 months ago that the extensions were causing so much damage I would have stopped - although I sense that is why they didn’t tell me, they only care about money. On top of never having my hair washed between new extension installs, they didn’t even bother to remove the old beads - they were adding new beads below the old ones to push the extensions up. The beads in my hair varied in colour from beige, black, and brown. They couldn’t even use one colour. My hair is extremely fine as is, and I only wish that someone had been upfront with me about the damage it was causing. Had this method been done in a sanitary and appropriate method without short cuts, I feel I may not have had as much damage as I do. They only have one staff member now, and had to shut down their large salon so I do feel as though they have bitten off more than they can chew, causing corners to be cut. If you are in this industry, and industry that is supposed to be about making people feel good, you need to do things the right way. This includes but is not limited to washing hair between installs, using the same colour beads, cutting out the old beads, alternating placement to avoid balding/extreme tension on the hair, etc. **** Please reconsider the industry you are in so this does not happen to anyone else any longer.

I met Jenika when she was still just starting up the business a few years ago and was completely amazed by her story, and so impressed with her drive. After I met Jenika and she did my consultation, I never looked back. Finding a place for me to trust and be loyal to doesn't come everyday for me, but Bombshell Extension Studio is definitely a place I completely respect, and truly adore. They have such a friendly and warm environment, it's a fun place to go to, super convenient location on 124th street, free parking, fair pricing, great quality hair products and amazing service and skill, you can book your appointments online or via phone, their tightenings are super quick appointments, and the girls are just so approachable, kind, always gentle to your hair, and super friendly. and the place always smells amazing! I also love the fact that they were never aggressive towards me in upselling, yet they are always genuinely happy to help you or answer any of your questions, which is a huge plus for me and i'm sure so many other clients appreciate that because there is no pressure or commitment required. Instead they just provide you with professional recommendations (I promise there's a difference), leave it up to you for research or answering any other questions, and to make a decision. Also, their hair products line is amazing because these products actually work exactly as the girls say they would! I don't think Bombshell has to even try to upsell because their work, photos, and their client's testimonials speak for themselves. Jordyn did an amazing job with my hair. She colour matched it perfectly and was an absolute blast. The quality of hair is amazing, no shedding, no matting, 100% worth the price! I haven't felt this beautiful in a long time, thanks Bombshell!

I have had my extensions in for just over a month now and I am absolutely obsessed! I was concerned that they wouldn't blend in with my natural hair (I have thick hair with a very blunt long bob) but Jordyn installed and blended them without even having to cut into my natural hair. The atmosphere in the salon is awesome, all the girls are super nice and chatty. I always leave there feeling happy! I'm impressed with the quality of the extensions as well- I was in Jamaica for a week, swimming in the salt water every day and they held up SO well. Safe to say I'll be having my extensions in for a long time :)

A few weeks ago I got the knockout line hair extensions installed by Jenika. She did a great job and I love my hair!! I originally had hair that came just past my chin but now I am rocking 16 inch extensions and my hair looks so long and healthy. They were able to give me so much more length then I even thought possible! They were able to blend me extensions seamlessly with my natural hair which I was surprised by since I had a very blunt hair cut to begin with. I am beyond happy with my purchase and I'll definitely be coming back here for my next set of extensions as well. Thank you Jenika for helping me get my confidence back! You rock! Attached is a before and after picture so you can see the difference. :) I am very happy with my new hair!
