Was recommended to this place for a haircut that so far no one seems to be able to do successfully. I emailed and as far as I know, now a week & half later, I've had no answer regarding appointments....Oh well, onward. I've seen the quality of her work & thought I would treat myself but....another hairdresser down the tubes, I guess I just keep LOOKING till I find someone who can cut short hair ...

I have been going to Marla's Hair Studio for 32 years. I can't imagine going anywhere else. She understands my hair and she is such a lovely person.

Have been going to Marla for more than twenty years. She is very knowledgeable, can cut any type of hair, even very curly, is very honest, and will refuse to do something she knows will damage someone’s hair. I trust her judgement completely.

Been going to her for more than 20 years, Marla damaged my hair using a highlight that was too hot for my hair, which damaged my hair and then she failed to recognize the damaged hair and even tho she could see the hair was different than the rest of hair on my head, she ignored it for six months. Apparently Marla knows of one only reason why hair does not hold colour, too much sun (during the summer that never happened) This went on for five visits (Aug to Feb when my hair broke). Then my hair broke off (my hair is almost down to my waist). So far the best I've received for an apology is: sorry this is happening to you. I told her I needed three things from her: 1) she must accept responsibility, compensation and a plan for how she will take care of my hair so this doesn't happen again. I told her on Mar 24, haven't heard anything from her to date. May 2/17: The owner Marla refuses to admit she damaged my hair and it broke off because of the highlight she used. She has told me to go find someone else to do my hair. This owner is dishonest and has no integrity whatsoever!
