Now i understand why it says Sessions Hair is "Permanently Closed" on Yelp. I had an appointment scheduled, I showed up early and was told that my hair dresser was not "here" no explanation or apology. NOT a single phone call or text to notify me. Completely unprofessional. Thank you for wasting my valuable time. I will not be returning. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Today I had the worst haircut I've ever received. I realise that you take a chance as a walk-in but still, I expect competence. My hair was cut far too short despite specifically stating the length I wanted. There is a chunk of hair missing from the left side of my head and it seems I found it on part of the right side that wasn't even cut. The guy didn't even trim or shape the nape of my neck. Also... who blow dries curly hair? I went to Sessions regularly years ago and the woman I saw was fantastic. I was never disappointed. After today's experience I will never return.

Posting for my girlfriend. So I made an appt for a wash cut and style. I go in and the receptionist says you're here for a wash and style I corrected her. She failed to pass this info on to the hairstylist doing my hair. About half way through I questioned what was going on...he then said he didn't know I was getting it cut so opted for a dry cut. During this cut I stated i didn't want my shape changed or anything just my dry ends trimmed. Well this stylist went on his way and did whatever the heck he wanted with my hair not prompting me what he was doing or asking me anything about my hair. So I left the salon with a v shape - complete opposite of what I like. Layers - complete opposite again. And inches upon inches off of my hair that I just spent 7 years growing out. As a stylist you should ask you client questions with what they're looking for etc. Not just cut their hair how you feel. I am a straight across no layers type of girl as my hair is thin as can be...this hair cut not only doesn't suit me but doesn't suit my hair style or type as it is curly. As a stylist you are trained to know the difference between hair types and whay will and will not look good. Completely upset and mad with my results and the lack of knowledge this professional salon is supposed to entail.
