I made an appointment for a devacut transformation. My hair is stiff and the haircut is uneven. I had really high hopes and I was totally let down. The stylist was nice but I left feeling anything but fabulous.

Didn’t even get my hair cut! My appointment was at 2:15 so I showed up 5 mins early. When I walked in the door no one was at the front desk so I waited 5 mins. Finally ONE OF THEIR CLIENTS asked me who I was waiting on. I told her I was waiting for Janise and someone from the back yelled at me to just have a seat. I sat and waited. 20 mins later I hadn’t even been acknowledged or told that my stylist was clearly running behind so I left at 2:40. If a “professional salon” doesn’t even acknowledge their clients or notify me they are running behind, I’ll find another place that will.

****disclaimer**** I've not been to this place! I am giving it a poor rating solely based on poor costumer service over the phone trying to make an appointment and ask about pricing. I had checked the website for pricing but wanted to ask a person about a certain style of coloring and its pricing. The receptionist cut me off to tell me their base rate for cuts and that I just need to look online for everything else. I started to explain that I couldn't find it and she just repeated herself and ended the call. They apparently aren't hurting too bad for business since she didn't seem too interested in booking me an appointment. Long story short, I called a different salon, all my questions were answered and have an appointment with them tomorrow. A nice, friendly attitude goes a long way in my opinion, and they were lacking in that department.

We tried out It's Fabulous on our summer trip because my daughter desperately needed a trim. She has a slanted bob style cut. I did some research and ran across It's Fabulous. I found the reviews to be mostly positive especially regarding Crystal. I showed her a previous picture from when my daughter had just gotten her haircut at home. I can't express enough how thankful and happy I am with Crystal's work. She did a wonderful job on my daughter's hair and we will definitely be back the next time we come to Madison. :)
